A Hidden Gem in Carson with Petaca Canyon Views and more to be discovered! Beautiful isolation on 48 acres yet just a 20 minute drive to Taos, to the Taos Ski Valley, and to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort and Spa. There are Petaca Canyon views with at least 10 canyon-edge building sites along the more than half a mile of canyon frontage. The middle of the stream bed in the easy access Petaca Canyon is the longest boundary of the property and is the SW property boundary. Mature pinon and juniper trees in the canyon bottom that have been twisted and formed into the shapes seen in ancient Chinese screen paintings by wind, weather, and water. The once heavily harvested trees on the north side of the land, above the rim, have recovered and are prospering. Gravel and sand Matisse Road until it ends in a 90-degree left turn onto unmarked Cuatro Ruedas Road. There is a green tee bar fence post at the property entrance. Rolling but reasonably flat potential building sites with stable basalt footings all along the canyon rim. The elements that place this property apart from all others are on the North side of the canyon walls, petroglyphs and magnificent trees along the Aguado de las Petacas. Seller financing available.
